Like I said, I really dig that they apparently are getting back to the unique and defined sexy Bond style that we all know and love, but...

He so...umm...un-007-like.
He looks like someone who would be Guy Ritchie's next favorite lead, not the ultimate super-spy.

I am excited none the less, and will go into the theatre with an open mind, and with no prejudgements about this cat. I'll give him a chance.

Given the chance...who would yuz all of cast as Bond?

Methinks I woulda gone with Hugh Jackman.

EDIT: I actually think Craig is a good choice. He's a little "Edgy". They're trying to get a some sort of new audience. at least IMO.

Even though I suggested Owen, I don't like anyone for the part except Connery, the true Bond. He's just aged himself out of the part. :beer:
 
I dunno...Jude Law as uber-tough-guy Bond?! That'd be a hard sell.

And as for "the true Bond" Connery goes without saying. All one could vie for would be second place in the history books.

I still disagree with that assesment. I have enjoyed every Bond we have seen (Maybe not so much Lazenby)

I like em all for different reasons. I respect Connery 'inventing' Bond but when the other Bonds are on; they're Gold
 
Layer cake was great this guy can act. I think he a good choice I hope they go for a darker route of bond though. I'm convinced that he can pull it off its the writing im worried about I hope its well done. I can't wait too see.
 
clive owen would have been my choice for bond. he got the qualities. either way I'm stoked.

yes i agree. Layer Cake was an awesome film. I loved it. Hmm... i'm going to go back and watch it again...
 
Layer Cake convinced me Craig could pull Bond off. He's a solid actor and is a well needed injection for the tired franchise. Looks like they used Parkour in the film. Good teaser. I can't wait.

I think Clive Owen would be a great Bond. I saw the trailer for Casino Royale Friday, and it looks good. Didn't really show much, but the action looks great.
 
I'm a big Bond fan...and im a little iffy about this one...this can go either way...people just wont like this new guy or they will love him..

From the looks of this short teaser...its hard to tell..there is alot of really cool looking action sequences...but lets hope it doesnt turn out to be farfetched like a lot of action movies are.

It might just take me a while to adjust to this guy if he does a good job on this film cuz i grew up with Brosnan as Bond. Hopefully this film is amazing as the teaser protrays it to be.
