FS7: Cases for local transport FS7 x2 and audio gear

I've been using THIS really high tech case for hauling my gear. (2 x FS100s and audio gear). I now have 2 FS7s and would like to step up to something a little more professional. Plan on just local shooting (no air travel) so just something to throw in the front seat of the car and drive to the site kind of thing.

Being thinking this might work...
Pelican Case 1654

Anyone have any recommendations , thoughts if this would be ok, or another model # if you think it might be better...

Pelican 1650 Custom Case

I've been using the Pelican 1650 with custom cut foam from Jason's Cases for safe transport of my camera in my car. It will hold batteries and other accessories, to include either the Odyssey 7Q+ or a Nexto Bridge storage device. Jason makes a couple different layouts for the FS7. Very good quality at $600. I have a Vocas baseplate for use with a VCT-14, and needed to rotate the mic holder in order to get the lid to close.

Pelicans are always a safe bet but the pound to pound ratio (equipment to protection) is not so appealing (because the case is heavier and because you can't utilize the space as effeciently as some other cases.) That being said, it future proofs you if you plan on flying with it down the road.

For local transport, I like my Pearstone Large case:

Affordable, nicely built, bright interior, wheels, and lots of room.

You would need a big front seat to get a 1650 or 1654 on it! One of these fully loaded can end up being a two man lift. I have three and they are right on the limit of what I can pick up and get into the back of my car. One advantage of these hard cases for me is that you can lock them to stuff like your car or something in a building if you need to leave them unattended for brief periods. There are only so many cases you can take to the toilet:)
Plus, you can stack them and stand on them.

I can pack an FS7 plus 3-4 lenses plus batteries plus A7sII in a carry-on sized Peli 1510.

2 of those and you're set. Plus halves the chance of damage if you split them :)

That said if it was just camera and no glass you could fit 2 x FS7s with top handles removed and stored in a 1510 easy

The more I look at some of the posts here, I may need something slightly bigger for 2 FS7s and some gear.

THIS CASE looks like it might be able to handle 2 FS7s and looks to be about 5 lbs lighter than the 1650
