Carnivals and their tragedies

Tonight was the worst ever!

Never shall I go to a carnival in my life again...for a few reasons

1. every year the rides suck more and more...no more zipper..im sad

2. it rained the past 4 days nonstop so the field we were on was muddy and i almost fell into a lagoon of death behind a ride while with a girl..not fly at all...

3. $$$$$$$$$$$ toooooo exspensive...5 bucks to get on a ride that lasts 20 seconds. It's a conspiracy...

4. when your walkin around with someone....and you pass by a game...and btw...its the most exspensive game in the whole fair...she wants the big neon yellow teddy bear...and what do i do?...spend 20 bucks...and the game is 2 dollars a throw and you get 3 trys. :D

5. Only good thing about it...funnel cake, fried twinkies, zeppols, carnies.

When was the last time any of you had a horrible time at a carnival? And I know alot of you guys go to carnivals..dont be shy to let it out. haha

Sounds like the time I finally became a man. :)
Now that's funny!!!

There was a carnival here and they had a haunted house. Basically you pay your $1 (that's a lot by Thai standards) ad they shove you into a small dark room. A guy walks in, wearing a mask, and pushes you through the room, around a corner, and out the exit door. That was it!!!

:furious3:

Here, here... 'tis a sad state of affairs when the carnivals no longer have human abnormalities on display like that of yesteryear.

I was pickpocketed by a clown on my thirteenth birthday at a carnival. Not kidding. I had twenty bucks on me, which is a lot of money when you're thirteen. This clown bumps into me and goes, "Oops, sorry kid," He squeezes his red fake noise which makes a honking nose and walks away. I found out later on that night. Was so pissed. I hate clowns..

Well they are on scary movies all the time, gotta live up to their reputation. You're just lucky he didnt slash you to little bits.

I spent so much money on those games in my day.. I realized they dont like to give anything away. Like the game is fixed to take your money.

I did however manage two different times to walk away with a giant stuffed animal. You'd be suprised at the girls you meet when you win one of those.

No way! My friend was molested by a clown on his thirteenth birthday.

Small world. Maybe it was the same clown? :)

On second thought, it wasn't on his thirteenth birthday. It was July 4th 1992. And it wasn't a clown either, but rather my uncle Larry.

Uh...I mean his uncle Larry.

I've said too much.

I know that feeling. First time back in the 80's, give the game runner a 20$. Being young and dumb it never occoured to me why he did not give me change back immediatly. Turns out he let me throw the basketball for 20$ worth. Got a big lion though.

When my daughter was 5, it took her to a carnival, spent a buck or so and won her a gold fish. I had to go out and buy a fish bowl. The fish lived about five days...she was crushed. I ended up buying her an aquarium...yeah, carnivals can be expensive. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Here's what you do. You find the head cheese of the carnival and offer him a 10-15 minute video of his carnival in exchange for two 3 day ride passes. You spend one day filming and editing. Deliver him his video on day 2, get your passes and you're good to go. Of course you own the footage so you've also got yourself some nice stock footage. I've done this many times.......it works!
