Car accident

Go to a doctor and get an MRI done of your ENTIRE body. Every muscle, joint, vertebrae, everything because this was a major car accident. If you haven't done so get a tetanus shot. First thing we all got after a we ran straight into a telephone pole.

So let's assess the situation, you feel fine NOW, you feel 100%. Feeling is not KNOWING. So first course of action:

1. MRI

2. Then if needed get an attorney.

Health before money, body before suing, knowing before lashing out.

Go get yourself a MRI and have their insurance pay for it before you sign any waivers.

Don't get opinions. Get a lawyer.

Period.

If you don't want the lawyer to be too aggressive you still have that control, as he is representing you. But without a lawyer you might as well be a martyr, letting people stab you and saying they didn't mean to. Let me put it this way... if you don't do something about it you are enabling that behavior. Do you want drunk driving to be "allowed"? What if this guy had done this to your mother, someone you love dearly? What if the timing were a bit different and the accident where exponentially worse for you? For someone you cherish with all your heart? Your future kids, your father, the love of your life? Just saying...

them that my neck still feels pain

You need to get that looked at. It can be a multitude of different things. Feeling fine doesn't equate to being fine.

e.g., in many concussion cases, feeling okay can be feeling dead a few hours later. You need to go to the doctors preemptively and have them run all the tests they need to do.
