Capturing a PAL tape in NTSC land

Hi all. I have some miniDV tapes recorded in another country on a PAL XHG1. I have one NTSC XHA1 as well as an A1S. Is there any way for me to capture the PAL G1 footage? And if I can't with my cameras, can anyone suggest the easiest, quickest way of capturing the footage, short of sending the tapes back to the country where they were recorded in?

You probably have figured it out by now, but if not, try renting any PAL dv cam in your area.
