Capture Live Into FCPHD

Can someone please give me the steps I need to follow to capture footage live into FCPHD? I am running FCPHD version 4.5, and have tried using the log and capture window and I can see the live footage in the window, but when I click the capture now button it says the camera needs to be in YTR mode. Anyone help me here? I have changed capture settings to DVCPro50.

In the "log and capture" window click the rightmost pane titled "Capture settings"

In the "Device Control" pop-up, click "Non controllable Device"

Now you can "crash" record on the capture now button.
 
thanks - what about capture/input setting - if I am using squeeze mode going to DVCPro50, should I use the DV50 NTSC Anamorphic setting?
