GH4 Can't view 24p on external monitor

Any ideas on why we can not view 1920 24p .mov footage on an external wireless monitor? 30p works fine but not 24p which is critical for our film. I've tried both analog and HDMI connections and they both give the same result (no picture). I've read the manual front to back and cant find anything. I don't believe its the monitor, since other cameras show picture in 24p in the .mov format.

PLEASE HELP!!!

On MY monitor, I am quite certain it IS the monitor: it was not designed for 24hz operation, but 30 works fine. Makes me wonder.... I should test 23.976 and see if THAT works any different.
Read on hear about switching to AVCHD instead of MOV could fix it - does not affect the actual output of the HDMI, still high quality for external recording. Might affect your internal recording though.

Are you shooting 24p Under the "24Hz" setting, or 23.98 under the NTSC "59.94 Hz"? Could this make a difference?

And don't forget, once you have captured a clip using one Mz setting, the camera won't record to the same card in another Mz setting until you have re-formatted the card. So jumping from pal to ntsc on the same card is not doable, if I'm reading this correctly.

Im shooting in NTSC 23.98 1080 .mov. We're not recording to the external monitor/device we just need to monitor the camera becasue its mounted on a helicopter. We can see footage from our 5d on the monitor. I find it hard to believe Panasonic expects 30p is what most productions are going to use, especially features....

I ran into this same issue. Your current monitor may not be able to recognize a 24p video signal without 3:2 pulldown being implemented, which allows the monitor to see it as a 29.97 signal. I ended up upgrading to a SmallHD AC7 OLED, and have had no issues monitoring when filming at 23.98fps since.

The SmallHD AC7 OLED sounds like the fix... Does any know of a cheaper monitor that could be used with my 24p issue?
