GH2 Can't shoot 720/60p for slow motion

I've been reading that you can shoot 720/60p on the GH2 and then conform to 24p - I've seen some videos of it, and it looks good!

So here are my questions:
  1. I can't find the 720/60p option - even in the manual there is only 720/50p. Is it because it's a PAL camera? If so, what is recommended to get slow motion?
  2. Once shot in 720/60p (or 720/50p) - how do I conform it to 24p (or whatever it should be) in Cinema Tools - or is there an alternative method you recommend? (I don't have Vegas, only After Effects and Final Cut Pro)
  3. There will only be a few slow motion clips in my sequence - the rest will be normal speed. Would the sequence frame rate be 24p or 60p?

Cheers guys

As for your editor sequence: you make it 24p. "most" new versions of good editing software will allow you to then just drop the 50p or 60p clips in and it will automatically play back at 24p giving you your slow-mo.

As for the rest - I'll let someone more tech oriented chime in.

Cheers for the response. I just tested a shot at 50p, placed it in a 24p timeline - strangely, the reverse effect occurred - it was really fast.

Do you have Final Cut Studio? You probably have Cinema Tools - it's the easiest way to conform to 24.

Also you can do it in After Effects, if you right click on the file in the bin, and do "interpret footage."

Here is a video I shot with a hacked GH2(zero adverse affects settings) and the 25mm F1.4 + 45mm F1.8. I shot in 720p @ 60 FPS for every segment. Then I did a 2x slow down for all of the dynamic moves. I think it worked out pretty well for an extremely low light video.
