Can't import P2

So i've been watching tutorials and reading manuals all day and still can't get this to work.

Connecting the HVX to my iMac via Firewire won't mount the P2 at all. That's problem #1. I know it's not broken because a firestore mounts just fine with it.. Anyway, I can get past that for now because using the USB works, so i've been trying it that way.

Anyway, so I follow Barry's directions from this thread: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=118672 Now I go into FCP6 and choose "Log and Transfer", click on add folder and select the "CONTENTS" folder that P2CMS made. When I hit "open", nothing shows up. From watching tutorials, I know i'm supposed to see all my footage there now, but nothing comes up. All the files are in that folder but FCP isn't reading it.

I thought maybe because with the P2CMS method, there's no lastclip file copied over. But I tried it without P2CMS also and just copied it over with Finder, along with the lastclip file, but that wouldn't work either.

First time with P2, so it's a bit frustrating for me. Anybody know what's wrong?

Which exact version of FCP 6?

And do you have FXFactory installed? If it is installed, what version, because some versions caused issues.

No need to go to the CONTENTS folder.

You must have all the p2 volume intact including the lastclip.txt file.

FxFactory 1.0.7 Build 4EF
FCP 6.0.5

I don't know if the full volume is in tact or not. Like I said, I used http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=118672 this method. It left me with a folder called CONTENTS. Within that folder are the folders Audio, Clip, Icon, Proxy, Video, Voice.
 
That did it! Thanks for the help. Funny how the smallest things can cause such large problems. I've been going nuts for hours!
