Can't import P2 after FCP 5.1.2 update

This one has me stumped. After updating to 5.1.2 I can not import P2 footage.

When I click on the import Panasonic P2 tab under the import menu, nothing happens. Then, I click on it one more time and the import window loads but there is nothing there (I see the dividing lines but there is no text or buttons to click...just a solid grey background).

Tried the usual...trashed prefs, rebuilt permissions, downloaded the full FCP update off of the apple website and re-installed.

Also pulled all my plug-ins out just in case it was somehow related to that issue.

Still nothing.

Also, searched this form, apple discussions and creative cow...no one else seems to have this issue.

Any thing I am missing?

It will only see P2 cards automatically. You have to do use the Add New Path function to tell FCP where your CONTENTS folder is. This is the first I've heard of the P2 Import window not opening up right away. And if the window is not showing up properly, then you may have a serious problem. May have to reinstall.

What Mac model are you on, amount of RAM, and hard drive configuration? Those can all influence this.
