Andrew Reid's review of the new APS-C Canons video quality:

To recapitulate the positives,

-big improvement over the regular Canon APS-C video. Now sharper and on par with the D5300/A6000/d750/a7

-The AF works brilliantly.

-EOS M3 has Peaking now an EVF option.

-All these d5300/t6s/m3/a6000 are softer than the new 4K cameras like the GH4, LX100, NX1 and such.

To recapitulate the positives

And of course Andrew had a list of negatives too. Here's a few points from this list...

- Moire and aliasing

- Uninspired video quality

- No built in EVF

- 60p limited to 720p and no higher frame rates

- Weak battery life

- Magnification assist for MF doesn’t work in movie mode

- Movie recording in M manual stills mode ignores exposure settings and goes full-auto

I don't know what to think of that review. He says the video quality is better than the 70D, but with moire. Which would be fine, but he then states that it is the same as the 5D which had terrible detail. Or the GH2, which had much better resolving power than the 5D. I wish he would have just shot video of a test chart so we could have some idea what he's talking about. Also, the M3 doesn't have dual pixel AF. I didn't know about the digital stabilization mode. The regular IS on the native lenses is amazing so I would love to see the result. But, I would love to see it with walking and panning, not just with holding it still like in his test videos. Less than useless.

Don't forget the downgrade in codec from 90 mbs in the 70D to the 28 mbs in T6s, Canon. Best option 70D with Video antialising filter VAF $ 300. Besides has Magic Lantern available
Or even much better 7D Mark II. This T6s , is a No No
