Hi there!

I bought letusXL few months ago... (great adapter by the way!). These are my test shots (made in a pre-school my girlfriend works at)

A few shots put together (no editing - just dropped on a timeline). Also no CC (straight from the camera). The sunny ones might had cinegamma put on... I don't really remember. Clip blown up to hd 720 25p.

Looks pretty nice, but there's some weird sharpening effect going on on the edge of the girl's clothes that makes it looks a bit cardboard cut out. I think reducing the sharpness setting slightly would help.

This video has restored my faith in adapters. It shows that if you know how to use it, the DOF will not be ultra shallow and mushy all the time. You keep it neutral so that the attention is drawn to the subject rather than a mushy bokeh.

Other adapter videos that I see looks like they have been photographed with something in front of the stock lens (which they are), whereas this video looks like it's been photographed with a camera that is already capable of short DOF. In other words, I think the DOF in your video looks like it does on most films.

I have to watch it again. :D
