Canon XH-A1 can viewfinder be replaced?

[Jose]

I like the camera but one of the weakness is the viewfinder.
Does anybody knows if the viewfinder can be replaced from another camera (like the one on the Panasonic DVX100)?

Thank you!

The DVX viewfinder isn't better, not suitable for HD focusing. Here's a thread where someone took a high-res viewfinder from a shoulder mounted JVC camera and mount it on the A1. Not pretty to look at, but it works.
