I have a Canon XH A1 at 1080i shooting in HD and I was considering buying an HDTV as a production monitor, since I cannot afford few grand for the expensive production monitors. Which would be better, the 1080i or 720p HDTV. Since my Canon shots at 1080i the obvious answer would be 1080i but I hear that progressive is so much better. What is your input?
