Canon warranty for US products and CAN

For people interested in buying cameras out of their country her is some info I got from canon store online. I called and the woman told me products like a camera body usually have a North American warranty. Only lenses tend to have US or CAN warranty.

I don't know if it makes sens. I think it's a question of calling each store and ask them which warranty is in the box.

I ordered mine from the states as it was about 150 bucks cheaper. Knowing the warranty is north america solves some worries.
