I can only guess on the lighting based on shadows and quality of light, however, the exif data says the following:

Rebel T2i
f2.8
1/60th
ISO 400
51mm (assuming it's a zoom lens)

yes ... good old exif !
as above, lens was canon zoom 17-55/2.8
I'm using ST-E2 (also known as r2d2!) to control two 580EXii's, one on each side of her, I forget the ratio ... maybe 1:4 with 4 being the right
left is thru a mini-softbox, right thru umbrella

I totally forgot I posted to this thread.

Thanks for the info Jhoe, and no thanks for making me lust after more gear!

Finished up with a headshot session myself. These are just the proofs (not edited). Two 430EX IIs, one bounced off back wall for really diffused key light and the second eased as kicker or backlight or not used at all. 2 pocket wizard flexTT5s triggered by miniTT1 with AC3 zone controller on manual mode:

In addition to filmmaking I do concert photography, headshots, etc., with my Canon 7D. These are all with the older 80-200mm f/2.8 L (magic drainpipe lens.)

Rebel T2i - Tone Mapping

Rebel T2i - Tone Mapping

Hi guys, although I'm first and foremost a film-maker, photography is a passion of mine. So, I thought I'd post some photos here. They were all taken with a Canon Rebel T2i/550D with Tone Mapping applied using HDR Efex Pro in Photoshop (sorry for the small size of the images but I can't work out how to get them bigger!)

Tone Mapping and HDR photography is something I'm playing around with a lot these days and think it's one of the most exciting developments in digital photography. Iin fact, we're also experimenting with HDR and tone mapping with our video work.I've gone into more detail about the HDR/tone mapping experiments and tests we've done on my blog http://pixelrev.blogspot.co.uk/

Sabyasachi_20080512_0426.jpg Sharing an image clicked in the wilds of India. She was my favourite tigress, and I used to track her every year. Photographed in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, India.

Haven't posted anything in awhile. Snagged this just after finishing a timelapse. 15 second exposure I believe... or maybe it was 30 secs. I took 4 or 5 shots ranging from 15-30 second exposures, so it was somewhere in there:evil:

Very nice! Wish a little more detail was brought out of the rocks and also wish the horizon was straighter...both of which can obviously be corrected pretty easily in post.
