Got a hold of Kegan's XTI (I think) on a film shoot we had.

Took some pictures of the kids. First time using the camera. Basically I controlled the focus and composition. Everything else was natural, and some of these are out of focus.

CC done in Photoshop, along with the cropping.

you know what you can do in this situation.....

set up the camera @ iso 50

drop the Iris to F22

and get a speedlight pointed at you just out of frame set up for rear curtain sync, this way the 1/4 sec or 1/2 sec exposure, will make the water reallllly dreamy, but the flash will keep your features sharp.......

funny, I did the f22 and iso 50 and the speedlight pointing at me but totally omitted the rear sync. oh well, sunrise sunset
 
Big fan of your new girl Phillip - she is new, right? Great shot in general though and I like the second as well. Excellent lighting and composition.
