EDIT: Or at least the perceived tone. With the written word humor and sarcasm can easily be lost ;)
 
Yeah, but I hate putting [sarcasm] at the end since it kills the joke. Perhaps they should invent a sarcastic font.

I totaly overlooked the forbidden image, my eye was completely on the boy's face it took me minutes to find out that -out of focus in the background- there was something that could be a women. The USA is the country that makes the most porn in the world but has a strange way of handling the nude. So happy to live in the Netherlands.

But the images are very nice Booth! You did a good job, take care, the still with the three pissing boys is not aloud in the States.

With that kind of warning label on this thread, I came in totally expecting to catch a glimpse of a full-on donkey show or something similar.

Now I gotta put the Jergens and Kleenex away :(
 
I didn't do it myself but the DP did. He opened it up and re-aligned the glass. He also moved the motor as it was hanging a little too low.
 
Right, the M2 does require these adjustments to get good results. Lots of people lower the motor for use with the HVX, but the cinescreen position on the motor spindle is critical. Takes a few frustrations to learn that one.
 
To be honest the image quality was good without making those alterations but I think us, like many, want optimum performance from our kit.

I also think that it depends on how lucky you are. Some M2's are fine straight out of the box apparently, others need adjustments, and some need lots of adjustment. I think ours just needed some slight adjustments. That said there is a marked improvement since the changes, whether the layman will notice I don't know.
