Wellll this wasnt getting any exposure on my other thread... so yeah...

It was his band promos.. I had a lot of fun doing them. Shot on the 5D Mk II with the 28-105 L f4 and the 85mm f1.8

This was done an hour before the sun went down in ALL available light. I was fighting the sun. haha

^ You've got some nice shots of your friend... you certainly got the "band promo" style thing going on. I think my favorite is the one where he seems to be genuinely smiling. Depending on his music/persona, some shots might work better than others. Nice work.

Just made a thread with this, but it was shot with a Canon 7d and a 50mm 1.4, so I figure it'll work here too.

Just a few shots of some friends smoking in the back yard. Only light source is one of those motion sensing lights attached to the top of the garage. Looks a bit darker on flickr than it did on my desktop, but might just be my monitor.
