Recently got my hands on this lens and was wondering if anyone know if it can be mounted on the gh1 or atleast advise me to a mount that might work. im under the impression its a c-mount but ive heard this lens was produced with a standard arri mount aswell, all lens guru's out there lend me a hand so i hopefully can test this baby out!

Indeed it is threaded, thanks for the reply barry! Guess i'll put an order on a c-mount adapter from ciecio7 and see how it turns out.

Looks pretty heavy to be dangling off a c-mount adapter. You might want to get some sort of lens support; I wouldn't have a problem hanging the camera off the c-mount adapter, but that lens might be too heavy to safely just put the camera on a tripod and have the lens hanging off it. Get a lens support and put the tripod under the lens to be safe.

Your right Barry its definitely on the heavy side and i will most likely do my first tests by holding the lens instead of the camera body. I will be on the look out for support options perhaps something like this if i can find it.

Yep, that's exactly the kind of thing you'd want. But first, of course, you want to find out if using the lens is even worthwhile (if it has too much vignetting, etc).

What's the max aperture and how much did you pay for it? I just ordered a 12-75mm f1.8 for 50 bucks on ebay and a 32 bucks adapter. Can't wait to see how it works.

its a 25-100mm f1.8 It was actually more of a gift so i cant give you any personal price info, although from the research Ive done on the lens they seem to list from second hand retailers for everything between 400£ and 1200$ the later price being with standard arri mount.
