Is anyone using this with the Canon 7D?

I want to do time lapse and I hear this is a great device.

I have one question. Does this have the option to take a photo instantly from the remote without having to set a time interval?

Or do I need a separate remote for that?

Yes you can instantly take a photo using this.

You can buy a generic intervelometer off of ebay for under $30. I just bought one from seller "cam.plus "

Yep, you can do timeplases with it just like with the Canon one. I don't think there's a catch at all lol. Many people from the forums have it, my buddy has one too so they're pretty proven to work just like any other.
