Canon T2i Test

I brought a New T2i along to our shoot the other night, and shot some footage with it. I haven't had a SLR in my hands for about 20 years, and have never used one for filming until last week. So here's a sequence done with the camera, all hand held, no rails, no follow focus, no matte box, etc.: http://www.vimeo.com/12864449

I think it's a pretty handy little camera, producing nice footage that looks pretty sharp.

Very good. Nice detail and looks pro. Really nice round bokeh in there too. Love the subject matter. Would be nice to see it as a part of a 15 minute documentary on guitar repair with an interview interspersed with the cool T2i footage.

Thanks for your feedback. This footage will be part of a documentary on guitar design and building, with an interview interspersed with the cool T2i and XH-A1 footage, actually. This luthier has built guitars for Jack White, Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, Death Cab for Cutie, etc. Wait till you see the guitar with a cow skull inside, used as structural support.
