I'm in a buyers group in Toronto that's looking to get a group discount on Rebel T2i's. I'm not in charge of it but the guy who is said he's talked to a store and got the following quote - 10 people purchasing T2i Kit = $920 + tax
Over 10 people purchasing T2i kit = $900 + tax. Right now's there's 11 and he's looking to get 15. I'm not sure what the discount will be for 15 but even $900 + tax is still saving $100. So any Toronto peeps out there who want in on this let me know.

if shipping to the US from Canada wasn't such a B**** i could hop on this and save 20 bucks, but I would probably pay that in shipping and have to wait :undecided

I think I saw this on CLToronto. I'm actually kinda surprised he was able to work out a group rate at (Vistek, Henry's, ?).

When you say kit, I assume you mean the t2i + 18-55 kit? No "Body Only" deals?

If you guys are still waiting by next week, I'd be glad to join... as long as it's (financially) ok with the wifey.

He's got a list of shops in Toronto (vistek, henrys, downtown camera, Aiden etc) and he's going to shop around to get the best deal. It is for camera and 18-55 lens ( no body only) and I hope it doesn't happen until next week as well because I can't afford it until then either.
