Hello

Which software do I have to install? I guess Adobe Bridge is sufficient for RAW-images or do I have to install Digital Photo Professional?

EOS Utility?
Picture Style Editor?

I heard of a free software to convert to Apple ProRess for editing, where do I get that?

Hello!

Depends entirely on your budget.

Canon's Digital Photo Professional and all assorted software like EOS Utility and Picture Style Editor are definately worth installing. As is the free Photoshop alternative GIMP.

If you do have access to Photoshop, Adobe Camera Raw, and Bridge even better.

Personally I use PhaseOne Capture One in place of Bridge, and I use Photoshop to edit stills. Premiere to edit.

Thanks, Bridge CS2 doesn't actually recognize the RAW2-images, so I had to install photo professional. But it's not very intuitive, maybe I find a youtube how-to vid.

Thanks for the plugin, you have to alter one file, so that the software works with 550D. Very stupid from canon, not to update their own plugin. :)

I guess I can remove the checkbox for pulldown in 25-PAListan (Europe). But what's the setting P2-Plugin?
