C300: Canon requires Serial Number for XF Utility 1.3.1 download?

Hi all,

Canon's EOS software download page now requires a serial number to download the XF Utility latest version 1.3.1. What gives?

Yeah I have the same problem, I hired a camera a couple of week ago and my camera man transcoded the stuff but I would like acces to the orignal files as well, just as peace of mind. But I can't as I can't down load the utility!

In the past, you could just enter *any* number and it would allow the download.

Camera serial number is in the meta data. If you have files to edit you have a serial number to use for the download
