Hallo,

Canon 17-40L and 17-50 2.8 sigma.I checked C100 and fine aperture is set,II and 70-200 2.8L IS and 24-70 2.8 II diaphragm works perfectly and do not hear any noise when changed.Canon 17-55 2.8...canon 24-105L 4.0 and Canon 15-85 IS anyone tested these lenses?
this noise to be heard on the lens aperture?

I have the 24-105 on my C100 and yes you can hear the aperture changing when you change the settings. I have mine set to Fine Aperture as well.

The aperture scroll wheel on the C100 makes a noise when you change aperture. It's not quite as loud as the lens' aperture changing, but not much quieter. Point being, with any lens that has electronically controlled aperture, even if it was super quiet, you'd still have to worry about the noise from the aperture scroll wheel.

Bottom line is these lenses arent designed for an aperture pull and even if theres no noise the fine adjustments are just too much for anything usable during a shot. For that you will need a cine geared lens.
