Canon J16ax8B4 IFXS 2/3" Broadcast Zoom Lens with m4/3 adapter, zoom control & more!
EDIT: Sold
Hello, all.
I'm selling this Canon J16ax8B4 IFXS Broadcast Servo Zoom Lens for 2/3" and Micro Four Thirds cameras, plus a bunch of extras. The photos are of the actual items for sale.
Cosmetically, the lens body looks well used, but it's nothing that affects its performance. The glass itself is 100% crystal clear, with no scratches, dents, cracks or fungus. It works perfectly.
The servo zoom rocker is fantastic, allowing for super-slow zoom or fast zoom action. It goes from 8mm to 128mm. With the built-in 2x extender, that becomes a 16-256mm lens. Silky smooth manual focus ring. This is a true professional broadcast zoom lens. The images this lens produces are great. It has a soft, dream-like, cinematic character, while still having decent sharpness in the center. The aperture ring is smooth.
The lens was designed for 2/3" B4 mount cameras. However, included in the sale is a Micro Four Thirds adapter, which lets you mount the lens on any m4/3 camera (GH4, GH5, OMD-EM1, BMCC, BMPCC, etc.) When you use the 2x extender on the lens, the image covers the full m4/3 sensor with no vignetting. Without the 2x extender, you will see vignetting in a micro 4/3 sensor.
Also included is a battery and cable to power the servo zoom. The battery literally lasts for days. Battery charger included.
In addition, you get an Acebil RMC-8PRO zoom controller that attaches to your tripod handle so you can operate the zoom rocker without letting go of the tripod. Super slick, and is powered by the zoom lens itself.
A lens like this could use some support, so I'm throwing in a rail system with lens support. It's made of plastic, and it won't win any awards in the looks department, but it works.
The lens comes with a lens cover by Creative Controls and a Tiffen 82mm UV protective filter.
Overall, this is a fantastic lens with all the accessories you'll need to get you shooting with a broadcast lens on your Micro Four Thirds or 2/3" camera.
Selling for $899 + $10 shipping.
PayPal only, USA only. Sale is final.
Thanks for looking!
