Canon HV30

[chstick]

I just came across this camera and couldn't find anything in this section about people using it. Is it new? Just an upgraded HV20 I'm guessing.

Here's info from B&H

Anybody shooting with this? Comments?

Thanks

It's the successor to the HV20. Not much has changed. There's a better zoom toggle, improved LCD, 30p, and the nice black color. I don't think it's worth the premium over an HV20, unless these features are of strong interest to you.

My friend is looking at the HV20 and HV30, just can't decide which one to get:
Canon HV30 vs. Canon HV20

I have the HV 30... really good camera for the size. I bought it to do small production work with it. Depending on what you wanna do with it is to be determined if its what you want.

You can pick up the HV30 cheap if you shop around. Check amazon.

I bought my from B&H with the Bill Me Later option. I got no interests for 6 months if I pay it off in full within that time. Plus I got $100 instant rebate.

The total was about 911.00 and was from B&H who was simply amazing to work with. Fast shipping as well.
