Canon HV30 test with Genus Variable ND Filter

Testing the HV30 with the Genus Variable Neutral Density and a Pearstone VT2500B tripod. Left my 18% grey card inside so footage isn't properly white balanced once the ND filter was put on.

First time pressing the record button in about 4 years. First time using the HV30, first time with a HD camera and first time recording in 24p.

Footage was shot at 1080/24p. My editing program (Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 14) would not let me remove pull-down from 60i to 24p, so the footage has lines during motion and panning.

Some stuff is a little dark... I never took the ND filter off, so it always knocked a minimum of 2 stops off the footage.
