Hello, so i was thinking about getting a HF10 for the compact size and the styles it shoot. I went to best buy with my own sd card and capture some footage that i was not pleased with. i shot it in 24p..

here is the original file. its a .MTS file.

do what you want with it, all I wanted to really know is if anybody who have this cam know what the jittery is all about thats in the footage when i pan the cam around.

I really want this cam but the jitter is driving me nuts, i will go back to a different store to test again, maybe it was that cam.

The HF10 shots 24p embedded in a 60i stream so you need to apply a pulldown first to "extract" the 24p frames. The 24p frames are not interlaced so you end up with real 24p.

Hope this help, I have this camcorder so I can confirm this.
