SOLD!!

Up for grabs is my Canon FD prime lens kit. All lenses are in great shape with normal wear. The glass is clean with no fungus or scratches. Bodies have minimal scrapes that come with older glass. What I have is:

28mm f/2.8
50mm f/1.8
85mm f/1.8
135mm f/2.8
200mm f/2.8 S.S.C.

Very fast lenses for your letus or redrock!! Looking to sell as a group. I'm not using them anymore and would like to see someone get some use out of them. They've been great lenses for me. All lenses come with front and rear caps.

$300 shipped CONUS. Sorry no international shipping. Paypal only. Any questions let me know.

Sweet sweet cameras what are the details, like years and terms of use, etc, damn, I wish I seen this deal the other day before i just brought four new lenses, pm me if you're willing to seperate any on these lenses specifically the 28 mm and the 85 mm

Hi Ihmaloney

I'd like to keep them as a group for now. I'll let you know if no one takes the bunch and I split it up. As far as details, I picked them up as a group off a user with a Letus flip (way back when!). I've always taken great care of them. Shipping will be USPS conus.

cheers

I bought this item and as soon as I paid for it I remembered, "Are these lenses full-frame"? I looked and sure enough, they won't work on a 7D without an adapter, something discussed much in this forum apparently. I mentioned to him before buying that they were going to be used for a 7D and he said nothing about it. just five minutes after paying I realized my mistake and sent him an e-mail asking to cancel the transaction and don't send the lenses. He must have seen the e-mail and ignored it because how could he know what address to send it to without checking his e-mail? Then he sent me an e-mail 18 hours later saying "I already sent it and I already spent the money! sorry!"

Sure I made a mistake in paying for them in the first place but he could have been a decent person and refunded my money. now I have to resell them myself.

NEVER BUY FROM THIS GUY!

Of course if he refunds my money I will take this down.

There are 2 sides to every story and this situation is no different. I'm sorry that SquareDog changed his mind AFTER completing the transaction and sending the money. As I explained to him in my correspondence, I used those funds for other expenses through paypal. Later that night I saw his email asking to cancel the transaction. Sadly I could not. Should SquareDog like to legally pursue that option, I can prove that the money had left my account.

But we all know that is not necessary. When you agree to buy an item on the marketplace, there is no return policy should you later "decide" you do not want it. I said nothing in my post about a return policy and am sorry to hear that SquareDog thinks he's entitled to it.

As far as the 7D, he asked nothing of me as to whether or not it would work. In fact they do work with an FD EOS adapter, as I told him many times, including links to the item on B&H.

But it is not my responsibility to do his homework to explain that. Bottom line, do you homework before you purchase items. If you change your mind later, do not expect to be able to cancel the transaction. If you decide you dont want/need gear, but it back up for resale. And hopefully whoever buys it will be mature enough to realize that sellers are not retail outlets, with a 30-day return policy. Maybe it would be good for SquareDog to read the sticky on the top of the marketplace topic.

Definitely an unfortunate situation.

to side with cousinavi7 for a second, because I think I was the first person to pm you but you did not want to sell it because you did not want to separate your lens, everyone knows that you have to get an adapter to make these type of lenses work on the T2i and the the 7D, its not his responsibility to tell you, and yes these lenses will work with your lens, I feel like 300 for this kit if these lenses are in decent condition is a huge steal, add on that little 40 dollar converter (even cheaper on ebay) so 320 for the whole lot is a steal if these lenses are in good condition, I don't think its a big deal, but i know I would never trust a guy half way across the country who I have never meet, who is trying to sell me something on the internet to do the homework for me on a significant purchase. If these lenses are accurate in detail, then its not the sellers responsibility to do your homework. He did is job, when you get these lenses Ill have no problem taking the 28mm and the 85mm off your hands however.

Yeah, you're kind of stupid man... There's no such thing as a "full frame ONLY" lens, there's only APS-C only lenses. A full frame lens will work on anything (these particular ones with an adapter like we're all telling you), it'll just be cropped by a factor of 1.6x.

Do your homework.
