Hi, I just received my canon FD to M4/3 adapter today and after testing out all three of my lenses on it could I get the aperture to change. Is this common? I'm really not sure what to do. If any one could please help it would be most appreciated. Thanks.

make sure that little pin inside connects with the longest pin on the fd lens, then you can either use the adapter to change aperature without clicks, or you can use the lens to change aperature with clicks. Keep in mind if you do use the adapter to change iris, then make sure you move the aperature on lens to smallest f22 or whatever it is on the lens.

To my knowledge this adapter cannot change the Iris. It only does the off-on function. I looked to make sure the pin is connected and I see and hear it hit yet no cigar.

I think I'm seeing some movement by attempting what you said maranfilms. The aperture wheel itself doesn't seem to be working but the jagged ring of the adapter wheel does. Any ideas as to why?
