Canon EOS MOVIE Plugin-E1 - Trouble

I installed the plugin on my tower and wasn't able to get it work.. Then I did the same thing on my laptop and It worked. Any one know what may be causing this.. I have an older laptop so it takes soo long to import that way.. I want it to work with my tower.. I shoot with the 7d and 5d.

I tried that.. didn't work.. still not seeing my CF card.. I've used the same card and card read for both computers.. works on the laptop not my tower... Running the same software on both.
