Canon EOS lenses

Since the EOS lenses don't have their own aperture ring, wil they always have to be wide open on the GH1? I know I'd need an adapter, but assuming that, will i have aperture control? Thanks.

No aperture control. The only way to set the aperture is to use EOS body. Holding down aperture preview button, take the lens off. The apeture stays as it was set on the EOS camera.
