Canon EOS E1 Video Plug-In FCP

Looks like canon released a new plugin for fcp that allows us to use the log and transfer feature like we do with avchd files but for some reason I cannot find the download link, here is the original announcement

thats what I thought too but upon further reading the 5d to fcp plug in does not mention anything about log and transfer it just transcodes using compressor

It is not on the site yet. It is the tool Gluetools made and announced a while back.

yeah i've been really anticipating this plugin. but its been really annoying that all these sites have been announcing it being "available" and its not. i think a press release got sent out early on accident and bloggers being crazy about being the first to have something on their blog/tweet/whatever jumped on it. thus causing quite a bit of confusion.

but for now i periodically check http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/finalcutstudio/ for it. so untils i see it there, i ignore all those blogs and tweets that are just coppying everyone else's posts.
