F3: Canon EF Glass on F3?

Jacek,
what would be the new features for the "smart" Nikon ProLock over the one I have now?
please, elaborate?

Steven

As it stands right now the ProLock iris control seems to do its job. All we need to d ois activate the internal Silent Wave motors and the VR.
And that's what we set to do for Nikon...

So, auto focus on G lenses?
Autofocus is usually (always AFAIK) a camera feature. So no autofocus.
Think about using the OptiTron like you use the remote focus systems - Preston, C-motion. Except that you'll additionally have the image stabilization with lenses so equipped and there are no external motors, MDR boxes, cable spaghetti, etc, etc. involved. No manual calibration, just plug and play. And of course without the expense of your typical remote focus systems...

OK the F5/55s are coming finally..
You know you want them tricked out with the Smart mount.
Now that's a bleeding edge setup!!!!
