I am wondering if a Canon EF 28-80mm II lens will fit on a 7D. My girlfriend has an old EOS 300 and is looking for a nice DLSR camera and I recommend a D7 (Ok, so I have an ulterior motive, I want to borrow it to shoot video

She also as an EF 75-300 1:4 5.6 zoom. I realize they don't appear to have image stabilization but they should be ok starter lenses right and for video too? What other cheaper canon video shooting DSLRs are available that you'd recommend?
