Canon DSLR rig needed

I need to build a DSLR shoulder rig for an upcoming ultra low-budget shoot. The rig needs to hold a Canon 70D, Tascam recorder, 7" monitor, and some sort of battery solution.

I was thinking of going with the canon battery grip. I would prefer a cage that would accomidate the battery grip solution but also other cameras. I don't need a matte box or follow focus. I would need a comfortable shoulder pad. Parting out a kit would be fine. Budget around $250 to $450, with a target of $350.

Any suggestions?

This rig comes in at around $420. It's not a cage, but it's made to hold a C500, so something like this should work perfectly with what you have:
