I'm trying export ProRes clips from the Raw Lite captured from my C200 using Cinema Raw Development on my PC, however, I don't see ProRes as an option? Anyone know what this issue is?
For what it's worth, i tried to export using the DPX RGB 10 bit output file type, just to see if it worked, and it ended up exporting 572 versions of the same .DPX file turning what originally was a 2.75GB file into a 18.8GB bunch of files with audio on 4 separate wav files. Not very useful in my opinion.
The DPX files should each be one frame of your clip, not the same frame 572 times. DPX is an uncompressed video format, and a standard intermediate format for grading off in the high end.
ProRes encoding is not supported natively on PC hardware, and it requires special licensing like Assimilate's Scratch.
In short, if you want ProRes encoding the most economical way to get there is usually Apple hardware.
If you just want to make offline versions of the .CRM files, you can use DaVinci Resolve to create DNxHD's or even .H264 files. Just note the free version will not output 4096x2160 so you'll need to do a crop or letterbox.
