If you are on the fence I'd like to know your thoughts and survey the the field for how you all think these lenses will sell / perform.

glad they lowered the price on the primes... I still think if they would have taken their L still primes and put them in cinema housing and sold them for around 3k... they would have made a killing... just my humble opinion....

To me the prime lengths are a little nowhere - 50mm / 85mm fine. I like those lengths. Need something a bit wider than 24mm - like 18mm and a 35mm would be nice. 35mm has to be one of my favourites in terms of focal length.

Great prices however.

The primes are a lot less than the $6800ea. I was expecting. Now they're more in line with the Zeiss CP.2 Super Speeds. I look forward to seeing these Canon's side by side with the Zeiss SS. I recently bought a RED 85mm T1.8 prime to go with my RED 17-50mm T2.9 Cine zoom, so I'll compare the RPP as well. Good to have options!

Yeah, I'm quite encouraged by the price of the lenses. Looking forward to seeing how they compare to CP.2 super speeds!

I'm very interested in the prime lenses particularly since I was just about to pull the trigger on a couple of Zeiss super speeds -- now I may hold off and wait to see how they compare to each other before I make a decision on what to compliment my brand new C300 with. In the meantime....Canon's L-series lenses will work.

Option taken for the 24mm but still a big price jump from the 1800$ SLR version.
Wondering about the difference of image look compared to Zeiss... Obviously when you spend such amount of cash in cine lens, you don't want to mess the look of different lens isn'it soyou have to decide your road CP-2 or Canon prime?
