As requested I have created this map so we can all plot ourselves and find other cameras when we are on the move etc. It also comes up in google searches so it can be a useful tool.
YOU MUST READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE ADDING YOURSELF.
This is a PUBLIC MAP. Meaning anyone can edit it.
DO NOT EDIT THE MAP NAME OR DESCRIPTION (If you do so it records your user name and you will have permission to access it removed).
To add yourself do the following
- CLICK EDIT ON THE LEFT MAP PANEL (Youll see the text box for the map description opens up - do not type anything here.)
- Using the map controls zoom to your street location. If you drop pins on the wider map you may end up removing / using / moving someone elses pin.
- On the top left of the map click on the "BLUE PIN ICON" and drop it on your location.
- Edit your details in the pin pop up after you've dropped it. It looks like a call out box from the pin. Be sure to add your details as set out in the following.
Camera: (PUT YOUR CAMERA HERE)
Contact: (PUT YOUR NAME HERE)
(PUT YOUR EMAIL HERE)
(PUT YOUR CONTACT NUMBER HERE)
Do not add 1000 other pieces of information about yourself as it dilutes the result. Have had this happen before. This is not a map about what edit suite you have etc.
Once complete on the left map panel click DONE.
Its important to follow the above. Again, its a public map so for everyone to use it we just need to take a moment to ensure we follow the process so we dont mess up other peoples details etc.
