A mixed full-frame C200/C300 is the only camera in the universe I would consider paying a decent amount of money for. Nothing crazy but >$5K, <$10K.

If the camera had everything the C200 has, made some improvements, added various high-quality format options including a nice 10-bit 444 2K/120 option, and CRL by some miracle worked in FCPX as REDCODE RAW does, it would be so nice.

Or just drop the price of the C700FF by $23,000 and I'll buy one of those now.

Join the Digital Cinema Society at Canon Burbank on the evening of Wednesday, August 1st for a chance to get up close and personal with Canon’s latest Cinema Camera, the large format C700 FF. There will be both presentations and hands-on time with the new camera. As a group, we will also record shots with various lighting scenarios, then immediately process the footage and see it projected in Canon’s 4K DI suite.
