It is idiotic for S35 sensor and $25,000 Cinema Camera to have my grandmas EVF. Full Stop.
I also prefer Modular Design to Canon's.
If F5 price of body alone will be around $16,000, then you can have working humble F5 ( with 3,5" EVF) under $25,000.
It is no brainer for me that F5 will be popular camera IF SONY WILL NOT GREEDY.

Well, that's all fine and dandy, Mr. Full Stop. Everyone has their preferences. C500 still ships with modular 4" LCD & a very good EVF. You're grandmother was clearly very ahead of her time
No price has been even hinted at for the F5, and I believe that $16k is a quite optimistic. Who knows, though! It would be an extremely attractive price point.

))))I meant $16,000 body only, working system with "old" V-lock batteries and my grandfathers 3,5" evf could be around $25,000.

How much would be the cost of an EPIC brain + EVF + EF mount + batteries + handle or a ready to shoot package?
Only after we know the total cost of a ready to shoot package of EPIC then one can compare with the C500.
I like the EVF of C300. Neat compact package. I am in the market. However, I will wait to see if at all Canon is going to do either a firmware upgrade to C300 or price rationalisation or the 1D C coming in at an awesome price.
