Canon C300 II Approved Memory Cards

Can anyone confirm if the Sandisk 512 GB Cfast 2.0 cards work properly with the Canon C300 mark II? I may be renting one for an upcoming shoot and I have two Sandisk 512 GB Cfast 2.0 cards I'd like to use with it.

The camera is so old at this point that Canon's approved media list for that camera only lists Cfast 2.0 cards up to 256 GB. But I'm not sure if that's just because Sandisk had yet to release a larger capacity (512GB) Cfast 2.0 card up to that point.

I know occasionally there can be issues with cameras and cards that are too big in terms of memory available.

Should work, but can't confirm 100%. I used a 1TB with the C200.

C300 II's older (but not that much older, 2 years) and that card size ideology hasn't existed for the most part since the early days of cards.

If you don't receive an answer before the rental, maybe throw in a couple of approved cards as safety (an extra $100 or so in the budget).

Yep, I use my 512 GB cards with my C200, so was really hoping they’d transfer over to the C300 II. In the past when I’ve shot C300 II it was always with rented 256 GB cards. May just need to rent some again to be safe as you said.

I own two Sandisk 512s that I use with my Red Komodo. A few weeks ago I used them with the C300 Mk2. No issues.
