Very nice. I'm curious as to why they are offering the $1000 rebate with everyone saying how well the C300 is selling, but its great news for anyone looking to get a C300.

We might wait for some more deals soon.
Sony will come with Full Frame F3 replacement and Panasonic will be releasing S35 sensor Modular 4:4:4 cinema camera soon.
....and do not forget Scarlet will get new Dragon sensor soon. I still think Canon's 1d-c will put some heat on c300/500 for around $1100. I just wish it had 4:2:2 codec for 1920/1080.
 
It may take awhile for the Canon USA website and other dealer sites to be updated.

Hi Terry,

Thanks very much for your help. I just spoke to Canon earlier today, and my heart sank when they told me that the offer is an instant rebate only and not valid for anyone who bought the C300 before October 1. I waited nearly a year to buy it, then bought it on September 28 reading Canon's notice that the 24-month option was expiring on September 30. If I'd only waited another 48 hours, I would have saved $1,000. That just kills me.
 
Today is the last day to get the $1000 Instant Rebate on the Canon C300.

Get a 2012 Invoice and write off the entire purchase amount using the IRS Section 179 deduction on this years taxes.
