C200: Canon C200 skin tone test

Looks pretty good- shot RAW or internal? You can experiment with adding noise/grain to reduce/eliminate banding (including using various methods to only add noise in the locations that need it (e.g. masking, qualifiers etc.). Skin tones look good, slightly red/pink/magenta. Some quick tests:

Original frame (note the whites in the eyes are slightly pink too):

White balanced: magenta to green, add slight warmth (blue to orange):

Added noise grain. Adding noise works much better before quantization (compression) to reduce solarization / banding:

Pleasing grain, just barely noticeable helps reduce the 'video' look as well (more filmic).

Hi,
All in raw( coverted to Prores) with simple LUT to rec709 and little grading.
The noise can be "controlled" with noise, but my original and graded file doesn't have any kind of banding.
Thanks

Right- original will look good, with no banding, however if you want no banding on YouTube, adding noise in post can help eliminate/reduce banding after YouTube (ffmpeg) compression.
