C100: Canon C100 Preview clips before Post

Hi Guys,

Is there a way to preview the MXF Files before post? Like you can do with Pro res Mov Files?

Any utility software. Saves me time and i can delete certain clips.

I use the import dialog of FCPX to preview. Could also just use the QT player, but maybe thats because the Canon mxf plug in is installed anyways...

VLC will play the MTS files no problem

On a Mac you can also double click the AVCHD file and it will open a preview window where you can play any clip. The annoying thing is after you play a clip, and then close it, you have to go back and open the AVCHD file again. Or maybe there's a trick out there that I don't know about?

I was finding that too which was annoying me. I want to be like the old ex1 import utility and clip browser software.

"VLC Player" (the little orange cone dealy) does what you need.

For some reason, even after updating all my software, my Macbook Pro can't play them like some macs can. Maybe a need a whole new OS. But yeah. VLC Player.
