C100: Canon c100 onboard record button without grip

Hello Guys, I need to put my C100 on a ronin-m but how can I hit record if I remove the grip and top handle? Do not have the camera with me right now, so I cannot test for now. But If you got any idea, please tell me :) Thanks! (maybe when I reassign a button, not sure how to do it, but I can look into it, but what button should I assign it too?) Thanks!
 
Yes, you can reassign buttons, but there is also another record button on the front right, below the lens mount.
