Canon APS-C Camcorder Rumors... thoughts?

Maybe Canon is taking the Red route and will start promoting their cine-video camera two years out from release? Let's face it, Canon sits and waits to see how the market works itself out. I'm betting they are gonna watch how the dust settles after the brawl between Scarlet, AF100, and Sony's new 35mm/HD camera, as well as how well the DSLR's have held on in the grand scheme of things.

What's this I hear about grain? Not that dreaded grain again. I wants super clean images that can shoot in zero light on the dark side of the moon.

I agree... I mean after all, 35mm doesn't have any grain! Hell, I don't even eat bread with grain! Fools and your gluten addictions....

And is it really that unreasonable to expect a camera to shoot with no light? I've Cloverfield, they shot in the subway tunnels with no light!

But I'll tell you this, God help them if it's more than $150!

I mean honestly, is it so hard to make a camera that shoots like 70mm film for under $500?
