Hmm, intertestign discission on this topic.

The camera is beeing fed drirectly yo a Monitor down HD-SDI.

I will go over in a couple of minutes and compare the XL-H1 which is next to the G1.

Might even pop in a tape and roll some footage - thoguh I can't capture anythgin other than DV, sorry.

Mikko, my brother -- think different! Apple's there demonstrating their fancy-schmancy 24F capture, right? Can you not capture some 24F/30F and then march it over to Apple's booth and say "would you help me out here, I have an external hard disk and I want to see you capture this footage to that hard disk?"

Or just capture 60i and hand the tape to someone who has a Sony or Canon HDV camera for capturing the footage. I bet it won't be too hard to find someone there!

God I wish I had an external HD :nads:
But yeah, good thinking, I'll give it a shot.

- Mikko ... thought the "Think different!" referance was silly.

Hi everyone, new on the forum..

Did a low light test with the A1 the other day.. Low light street scene, about half past seven in the evening. And in Norway at this time of the year thats dark enough :) Monitored it with a sony 1080p and pushed it up to +12 in gain with absolutely no noise.. Made it look like it was 5 in the afternoon :)

So I`m happy..

Bjarne

Please discuss new footage in a new thread.
